Boston was home to America’s very first public school, and today many of Boston’s schools rank the highest in the country. Hosting many large firms in research, electronics, engineering, medicine, and biotechnology, Boston also offers has a wide variety of available jobs for new graduates.

Most people find that Boston is a very convenient place to live. It has an extensive subway system to get students from home to school, and tons of cafes where they can cram for exams. When it’s time for a break, the city has an extensive night-life and entertainment scene to enjoy. While exploring the city students will find tons of quaint shops and old buildings to enjoy, and will still get a feel for some of Boston’s storied history.

Whether it is because of the industries, or the schools that train their employers, Boston has enjoyed a relatively strong economy. As a result it is an excellent place to both study and find employment. However, Boston does have a higher than average cost of living, which can make it difficult for students to find affordable housing in town. Luckily there are many suburbs outside of Boston with nice apartments, which are only a short transit ride to schools and the city.

Boston schools are top-notch, and employers in the area are hiring new graduates by the handful, making this a perfect city to call home.
